For Partners

Two ways to partner with BonaVia.

Organizations and groups share travel protection with their members, and sponsorship credit is credited to their cause. Travel advisors and businesses register as travel retailers under our licensed program. Both start with a conversation.

Organizations & groups

Travel that supports your organization.

Churches, schools, alumni associations, teams, and civic groups. When your members protect their trips through your page, sponsorship credit is credited to your cause, at no extra cost to them.

How the sponsorship works

Travel advisors & businesses

Introduce coverage to the people you serve.

Travel advisors, agencies, and businesses register as travel retailers under our licensed program and are compensated for introducing the coverage. BonaVia sells and services the insurance.

How the retailer path works

How the sponsorship works

Step 1

Your organization gets a page

A co-branded page with your name and your cause on it. You share it in the bulletin, the newsletter, the group chat: that promotion is the whole job.

Step 2

Members travel protected

Travelers buy coverage at the same price they would pay anywhere else. Nothing about the coverage costs more; nothing about a claim gets harder.

Step 3

Your cause is sponsored

Sponsorship credit is credited to your organization under a written marketing partnership, up to 40% of what we collect, tracked in plain dollars and paid with a statement your board can read aloud.

A typical active organization receives on the order of $1,200 a year in sponsorship credit for its cause.

A thousand dollars is a mission-trip scholarship, a season of tournament fees, a semester’s textbooks. We treat every organization’s proceeds with the seriousness of a donor relationship.

Illustrative figure: typical-partner sponsorship credit from the BonaVia working model, not a quote or a promised rate.

How the retailer path works

You already serve people who travel. BonaVia gives you a plain way to put travel protection in front of them, with the licensing carried by us.

Step 1

Introduce the coverage

You introduce BonaVia travel protection to your clients and travelers. BonaVia sells and services the insurance, and every traveler pays the same price they would pay coming to us directly.

Step 2

Register as a travel retailer

Your business registers as a travel retailer under our licensed travel retailer program. We walk through the registration with you when we talk.

Step 3

Your fee

Your share is partner compensation under our licensed travel retailer program, paid to your business as your fee for introducing the coverage.

This path is distinct from the sponsorship above: an organization’s credit goes to its cause, while a travel retailer’s compensation is revenue to its business.
