Who it’s for
The mission team
Twelve people, one departure, one purpose: the whole team enrolls together through the church’s path, and sponsorship credit accrues back to the organization.
The band & the team
The marching band headed to the bowl game, the club team headed to the tournament: one organizer signs everyone up, nobody travels bare.
The group tour
Alumni tours, church trips, sister-city delegations: the organizer who did everything else can handle protection in one pass too.
How group protection works
One organizer, one enrollment
The person who plans the trip enrolls the group in a single purchase: the same coverage for every traveler, matched to the destination and the dates.
Everyone under the same plan
Group protection means nobody quietly opts out and travels uncovered: the chaperone, the students, the volunteers, all under the same protection.
Annual group arrangements
Organizations whose people travel together all year, sending teams each season, running recurring tours, can hold a year-round group arrangement instead of enrolling trip by trip.
The giveback multiplies
When the group travels through its organization’s page, the sponsorship accrues on the whole group: a team of twelve moves the cause twelve times further than one traveler.
Plan structure described in general terms; this is not a policy. Group eligibility, benefits, and availability vary by plan and by state, subject to the language of the policies as issued. The beta quote flow covers up to six travelers per quote; larger group enrollment is arranged with us directly.
Group protection questions
How does a group enrollment work?
The person who plans the trip enrolls the group in a single purchase: the same coverage for every traveler, matched to the destination and the dates. Nobody quietly opts out and travels uncovered — the chaperone, the students, and the volunteers land under the same protection.
How many travelers can one quote cover?
The quote flow covers up to six travelers per quote today. Larger group enrollment — a full team roster, a touring delegation — is arranged with us directly, starting from your organization’s page or the quote flow’s group path.
Which plans do groups use?
Group arrangements use the annual multi-trip plans, enrolled together for the whole team. Organizations whose people travel together all year can hold a year-round group arrangement instead of enrolling trip by trip.
Does buying as a group change the price?
No. Each traveler is priced the same as they would be anywhere else, and nothing about the coverage or a claim changes. When the group travels through its organization’s page, the sponsorship the organization receives comes out of what BonaVia collects, never out of a traveler’s pocket.
Who underwrites a group plan?
Coverage is provided through licensed insurance carriers: BonaVia works with more than one, and the carrier underwriting your specific plan is named in your policy documents and certificate. BonaVia is the producer, licensed in all 50 states. Details are in our disclosures.
